Gateway Mapping, the creators of NAMES IN STONE, invites genealogists and family historians to attend their presentation at the the Family History Conference—Becoming an Excellent Genealogist. The conference is presented by the International Commission for the Accreditation of Professional Genealogists (ICAPGen) and co-sponsored by the Center for Family History and Genealogy.

- Cemetery Information: A review of original sources of cemetery information—sexton’s records and tombstones—and the advantages and disadvantages of each.
- Spatial Relationships: How cemetery maps provide a spatial element to cemetery research.
- Mapping a Cemetery: How to preserve cemetery information by building cemetery maps online.
